Review from a student who took CH 301
Unfortunately, Dr. Walker was not as good as everyone made her out to be. I did struggle in the class, but when I went to Dr. Walker for help to see what I could do to improve, she told me that I should drop the class and consider if I really want to go in the medical field if I can't grasp the concepts of chemistry. She was very sarcastic in her lectures and would get mad at us if we didn't answer her questions in lecture. She was very condescending and inconsistent with her teaching styles. I received a D- in the class, which meant that I would need to retake the class. I decided to register for Dr. Fakhreddine for CH 301, and I have received an A in the same course that Dr. Walker told me to drop. Please. If you want a professor that is caring and understanding, do not take Dr. Walker.
