I loved him! Take him for genetics if you want to learn topics that are extremely interesting and not in the text book! In fact he doesn't require the text- and if you pay attention in class you won't need it. Covers great topics and always keeps class entertaining! the tests are short answer, but they're only like 15-20 short questions- not too hard either.

good prof, but difficult. if you review notes and understand concepts, you will do fine on tests. if you are not good at thinking about material covered do not take this prof. but if you are, he is a great prof.

his lectures r short and to the point but he leaves out the extra details required for tests......no real hw except read n study ur notes from lectures.......his lectures r unorganized b/c ur book will b useless (he only goes through general material)......tests r short answer/essay n difficult.......im a straight-A student n i dropped the class

Dr. Reichler is a great professor. His lectures are really good and he explains things really well and logically. He doesn't needlessly bog you down in details or make you memorize stuff your gonna forget when the class is over. It's really important to understand the big picture of how the things he's explaining work for the tests.

Dr. Reichler's tests come from his lectures, so you should go to class every day. His tests are extremely hard consisting of no multiple choice (just short answers). The questions on the tests all require you to apply what you have learned to certain situations. I wouldn't recommend this professor.
