HORRIBLE LECTURES. Essentially you sit there and at the start of class, you take a quiz over a topic that will be covered in the Homework - but not until next week. This year homework was worth 15% and the measly quizzes were 3%, but this year the teachers found out about PhySucks. So next year they're planning on upping the quizzes and dashing the homework to compensate for our student-built help service. Moore often trails off into subjects we won't ever cover, and his 'explanations' consist of him putting computerized solutions and explanations on the overhead very briefly so it's impossible to read them. He believes everything in statics is easy, which is debatable, but he consistently had the lowest test averages of any teacher (every class takes the same test). Class averages thus far are in the 40's. Two things, and two only, to Moore's credit: You get multiple tries on ANY problem you have to do - whether it be homework, quizzes, or the EXAMS thanks to an in-class clicker system. Basically you use a remote control to input your answers, and it returns whether it's right or wrong. The other thing, well, Moore's a nice, old fashioned kinda fella. Anyway, avoid him at all costs, strive to get Turner's class. Note: www.physucks.com - online physics homework help forum

This guy is horrible, undoubtedly my worst prof yet. His lecture is the worst part about him, HE CAN'T TEACH! There's no point in going to class because, well, it's not that you may not learn anything, you can't. He's awful and I wish I had another prof, don't make the horrible decision of taking him unless you have no other choice.
