Dr. Mehdy was an ok professor. I didn't like her lectures too much because she sometimes rambles on. On a plus note, I went to her office hour once and she remembered my name. She's a really nice lady but as far as teaching, I give her a 3 of 5. Her tests do get kind of hard though but they are multiple choice and short answer.

I took her Lab Mol Bio class in Spring. She never gets her lab manual on time. Most proffs are ready with manual and notes before the semester starts whereas hers manual is ready around Sprig break. Her lectures and experiments are confusing and most of the time experiments fails. Somebody suggested to take Dr. Sata's class instead.

She's a very nice, however she gets off track during lecture making it hard to follow. The tests can also be pretty tricky. Over half of my class dropped by the end of the semester.

Dr. Mehdy is an excellent professor. She gives very thorough explanations of the experiments and biological rationale in her lectures. She is very available and accessible if you need help. I learned a lot in this class! I enjoyed her course and would recommend others interested in molecular biology to take it.
