Review from a student who took CH 301
Every morning he starts off by saying "Good morning, class." Then he reviews the previous class's lecture before going onto the current day's material. His lectures are very thorough; however, they are definitely not exciting in the least. In class he seems to have a bland personality but he's very nice, helpful and a good professor.

Prof. Mcdevitt was very thorough in explaining things. That doesn't mean I always understood everything, nevertheless I thought he was a very good teacher. He always put bonus questions on our tests and the tests are exactly like the homework. He doesn't try to trick you on this. Your homework is really good practice for your tests. He also cares about how the class is doing. If the class was doing really well he was happy for us. He isn't one of those teachers that tries to make the tests harder because the class is doing so well. I would take him again but he is not teaching ch 302 for fall semester.
