Review from a student who took CH317
The lecture is virtually nonexistant. That's the only reason I gave it a low score, but it was nice not having to go to lectures :). The labs were really easy, and the TA's were quite lenient with the first couple of lab reports. They do expect the quality of the lab reports to improve though. For me and most of the other students this was a really easy A as long as the lab reports were somewhat well written. If you have a choice between CH317 and CH204, take CH317! It is much less busy work and you learn pretty much the same stuff.
