Review from a student who took BIO 322
While his portion of the BIO 122L lab is easy because there is only quizzes that the TA writes up, the lecture itself is completely horrible. The lab grade doesnt matter anyway because your lecture grade is what you receive as your lab grade. MAUSETH IS WORSE THAN THE DEVIL. He is unfair, unkind, and outrightly prejudiced. He is the worst professor I have ever encountered at UT. His tests are a combination of short answer and fill in the blank, but they are all very tricky and detailed questions. No multiple choice or matching. All his lectures are him writing chicken scratch on the board. The book doesn't help either because he WROTE THE FRICKIN THING. If I could give any stranger my most God-honest advice, I would tell them to AVOID MAUSETH AT ALL COSTS.

Awful course. The professors are unfair, outright state that the majority of the class will fail, and are not good at communicating the material. The lab is easy, but the lectures and exams make this class something to avoid. I would not recommend either of these professors to anyone.
