This class is pretty easy, but ONLY if you GO TO CLASS and participate in lectures and discussions. He does take participation into account when a grade is borderline. He is overall a great professor and really cares about his students.

He's a really good lecturer, you just have to go to class. A good set of notes can pretty much guarantee you an A in the class. He gives you plenty of example questions and since he doesn't do multiple choice you have the option of partial credit. I highly recommend him, he made an intro bio class fun.
Review from a student who took Bio 212
Dr Clark is an AWESOME bio 212 teacher. He in genuinely interested in the subject material and even more importantly in the progress of his students. His class is a pretty easy A as long as you attend lectures. His test follow his lectures extremely close with a little bit of detail added in that comes from the book. My advise, go to lectures EVERY DAY and read along in the book over what he's lectured and you'll be fine.
Review from a student who took Bio 212
His class starts out with a molecular perspective of genetics, as opposed to most other classes that starts out with the cell cycle. Which means it could be more difficult at first. Attending the lectures is very important; most material from his essay exams will be based on them.
Review from a student who took BIO 212
Clark is the teacher that got me excited about taking biology courses. I loved his teaching style and I thought that he really cared about his students. I think that an A is very realistic for anyone who goes to every class and takes good notes. He's a really cool guy, as well -- what other teacher has to miss class because he is at an Ultimate tournament in Florida? Take him.
