Dr. Woods was the best teacher I had all smester. His class was not hard at all and all of his notes were online. Going to his office hours to review for a test was extremely helpful. He is very approachable and always finds time to help even though you can tell he is very busy. I loved his class and got an A in it. As long as you take notes you really dont need to read the book. He lays everything out for you in power point. I recommend taking this class.

Professor Woods is a good lecturer and he is very knowledgeable. He makes the material interesting and is very helpful during office hours if you have a question. This is a pretty easy class to get an A in if you pay attention to his lectures and review the powerpoint slides.

Dr. Woods is really cool. He's not boring, he's very funny! I never liked high school biology, and I have hated other bio classes at UT. But wow, this is a fun class for visual learners. He takes attendance by CPS polls, which can only help your grade. Discussions were required, along with weekly quizzes, but the TA Sergio was really earnest in helping out. To my surprise, I got a B in the class, having only scored C's on my exams while attending all but 2 classes and 2 discussions.
