Hagerman basically a nice lady. Tests aren't too bad-totally from lecture material so reading from the book isn't needed. There are 4 50 MC Tests, and she drops the lowest grade, plus a non-comprehensive final. The workload for this class wasn't bad at all. I'd say the most annoying thing about this class is that her online lecture notes she posts are kind of unorganized with the lecture she actually gives. Do not be fooled and think you don't have to go to class because she puts notes online, there's a lot more she ususally says than whats on paper.

Hagerman is nice person but an awful lecturer. Her lessons are boring and unorganized. She doesn't give much of a review sheet and sometimes she forgets to post it until the day of the exams. She bases her lectures off of notes posted to blackboard, but again sometimes she forgets to post those and it's impossible to copy everything down and there's lots of extra material that's not on the printed notes, so you have no idea what to write down. The last test that we took had a class average of 63 AFTER the curve and the other tests weren't much better. The lady is insane. Avoid at all costs.

Prof. Hagerman is a nice lady. She tries not to be boring. (although many times she fails) A lot of people thought this class was hard, but if you know all the notes going into the test, then you're set. If you don't think you can do that, then this class isn't for you.
