I did not have a good experience with this class. The material is pretty easy, and you assume that the tests will be as well, but they are not! Dr. Dauwalder is very picky about the answers on her short answer/essay question test, and is not very friendly either. When I went to her office to drop this class, she seemed very happy that I was doing so. 30% of the class ended up dropping...enough said. I would recommend taking Shankland instead.

Incredible professor. Very well prepared for lecture and very demanding of all of us to do our best. She made me love biology even more.

Wonderful class. Dr. D is an awesome professor. I ended up doing research work with her in the 90's. Hard tests, but just visit her at office hours, she'll give you credit if you learn the answers post test. She's fantastic.
