Overall, I am happy I took the class. It takes little work, attendence is not required, and there are no quizzes/clicker. The lecture can drag but many people skip and can easily rely on a google doc and not miss much. There are three books you have to finish, but I found attending lecture alone would prepare me for the tests. It's up to you whether you prefer reading or lectures but you don't need to do both. There is an optional research paper that you can do to add on a fourth test grade, but I did not do it. The tests - 10 short answer questions and you answer 5, and one essay not given before. Overall, it is not hard to make an A but I imagine myself ending with a B.
