Review from a student who took ps 303
uh i dont know what the other student is smoking but that review is ridiculous. trappe only likes you if you are in a freakin frat which shows how immature he is. as far as lecture quality, there is no lecture. he doesnt even explain the labs. he walks in, starts reading the paper and walks around and talks to people about what bar he went to the night before. thankfully i was in one of the frat groups so i knew how to work with him. still has an awful class and his office hours dont help. his tests are HORRIBLE because he never teaches any of the stuff so you pretty much teach yourself. PLEASE do not take this class. worst science class ever.

Because all of the Physics classes are linked and basically the same, the choice of professor only determines whether or not you will fall asleep in class. Trappe is an interesting prof, tries to make physics entertaining, and is concerned for the progress of his class. He will help you with the huge amount of homework that is all done online, as long as you ask. He also holds homework and review sessions.
