Personality was ok, has a sense of humor. I found myself writting endlessly in lectures - as he would just speak (no visuals). Discussion sections took attendance, w/points deducted for any missed. Tests were few short answer, and then 3-4 essay. At least one of the essay questions would be an identification and analysis of something you read for that test. I don't think I read any of the reading assingnments completly through - if you pay attention to specific passages mentioned in class AND discussion, it helps A LOT. Discussions seemed to lack explanation of everything the Prof rambled about in lectures. I got a B in the course.
