Review from a student who took CHE 354
Professor Poehl was a great professor and gave very interesting lectures. He would often go off topic and into practical knowledge, that was really more interesting than anything the book provided. The number one complaint everyone had was that he was disorganized, often updating a lecture 1-hour before class started. He was also not available unless there was a test or if it was the final. You were better off asking the TA questions because he created several of the hw assignments. Professor Poehl was wonderful when you got a chance to see him, I wish he taught more classes. He was certainly VERY fair when it came to grading, and took your argument very seriously. Wonderful person and a wonderful teacher.
