Dr. Neal is a really nice guy. He's always more than willing to help out any of his students in office hours and his lectures are very helpful. He usually gives out reviews the week before a test, definitely do those because they make the tests a lot easier.

prof. neal is one the nicest guys you will ever meet. he gets to know all of his students on a first name basis. his tests are always very fair. he makes himself very available to help anyone in need. there are always review sessions before each test and the TA's do homework help sessions each week for the homework. there's a lego robot project which is awesome. i would also recommend that you try to get sam swiderski for your lab TA if at all possible. sam can be a nazi at times, but his labs are always enjoyable. i highly recommend prof. neal's class.

Basically, these other reviews are very accurate. His tests are reasonable. Just make sure you attend his review sessions if you have trouble with the first test, attend all lectures, and thoroughly finish the review sheets and homework.

Excellent Professor. He's a great guy, very helpful, learns students first names, etc. His lectures are interesting, he posts his slides on the web so you can always go back and review. I really enjoyed his class (except that it was at 8am. I hope he teaches 411 again next semester, I would love to learn in his class again.
