It is very easy to get an A in this class as long as you have an interest in the course material, and Prof. Daniels is a really nice guy and very understanding.

This is the best professor I've had to date in college. His EE 302 class is set up for everybody to succeed, and by succeed, I mean get an A. Easier than some high school classes I've taken. But aside from it being easy, Daniels brings in many guest speakers who teach you about the profession, and even gives free candy every class. Homework is usualy light, and easy, due once a week. He has random attendance quizzes sometimes, which you can work with a partner on anyway. And his tests consist of memorization (charge of an electron, famous engineers, code of ethics, etc) and problems similar to the homework and quizzes. Take him if you can, and if you can for any other EE class. Great prof.

obviously this class is an easy a, and daniels is a really nice guy, but if i were doing it over again, i'd take 302 from someone else; i don't really feel i was well-prepared for 411.

Very good teacher with great personality, but his class is too easy which could mislead students to think EE fits them. For instance, it does not prepare me well for the subsequent class EE 411, which uses the same book and also deal with circuit theory. It almost has nothing to do with computer hardware as well. I suggest students take EE 306 to see if EE really suits them. In my opinion, EE 306 is a better introductory course for freshman. I did not learn much from EE 302 since I already known many of the circuit laws from my engineering physics courses.

Yea, he really screwed me up for EE 411 and 438. It ended up I having to teach myself stuff that I should have already known. It sucks sitting down to study for a 411 test, and still have to learn 302 stuff. He is a super nice guy, with good intentions. But I would recommend not taking him.

easy 'A', really screwed me up for EE 411. I'd recommend someone else, the only thing i remember from that class was watching a video where he was "selling pies" or something like that.
