Take another prof. for 226R. His tests are HARD...class avg. for the tests were 60, 56, and 65. Curves were about five points on each test, and no final curve. There are homeworks due every week for five extra points in the class total. DO THEM. They saved lots of people from failing and some from taking the final. This class is a lot of work for 226R, and you will realize that when your friends in other prof's classes are studying half the time and making As on tests... HOWEVER, he is a very nice man, and will help you all that he can. His personality is great, he just is NOT organized.

Johnson is disorganized as a lecturer. He puts his lecture notes on the web but updates them about an hour before class, at the latest. His tests, based on practice tests, are based off his lecture notes. Read sections that he recomends and you'll be fine.
