Dr. Ferreira is a pretty good guy. He can be a bit boring at times. Take good lecture notes and expect tests that will challenge you. (He will put stuff on there he didn't spend much time on) He will give good partial credit though.

Excellent professor...very organized, and you know where you stand throughout the semester because he has averages, highs and lows on homework, and he has a chart for exams. There is also a paper, but it's very easy. As long as you do the homework and even if you have no idea how to do the problem, put down SOMETHING because he gives a lot of partial credit. Keep up with everything and you are assured a B, a little extra work earns you an A

He was a great professor for ME 311. His lectures and notes really explained the material. Just make sure to do the homework. Tests are challenging but not too bad. He curves in the end based on everyone in the class.
