Just when you thought electives were supposed to be a joke, u got Wendy Domjan and got screwed. Notes sometimes disorganized with unnecessary interjections during class. Unfortunately, exams could be very difficult and u have three in total; she does give you a second shot at things even though u screwed up the first one. Pretty demanding stuff, so if you think this is a blow off better think twice.

Great lectures! I actually enjoyed coming to this class...really interesting stuff that actually applies to real life...semi-hard...you have to study and do the reading but not that bad.

I took her Plan II Psych class and I really enjoyed it. 3 (response) papers, one take-home (short answer) midterm and a final. Her lectures are really interesting because she loads them up with personal anecdotes. Her lectures are slightly unorganized and more like a suppliment to the book. The courseload isn't that much and she's a very generous grader. I really recommend her!

I really enjoyed her class, and always looked forward to attending it. I can't say that about many classes I've taken. She is funny, knows the material up and down, and is very clear in presenting the material to you. There is no final in her 301 class, just 3 tests, your choice of essay or multiple choice. She holds review sessions on her own time, which are very helpful if anything is unclear. The multiple choice has a few tricky questions, but she usually offers a 4-8 point curve. I am by no means studious and I got an A. I highly recommend her if you want to learn about psych, how it can apply to everyday life and still have an enjoyable professor.

Great Teacher. Easy class, I went to approx 5-10% of the classes, and still got a B. All you have to do is read the Chapter summaries the day before the test, and you should do well. If you have a problem with one of the test questions after you get your grade, you can send an email to her regarding the question, and she will usually give you the points for that problem-so long as your argument is valid.

Very enjoyable lectures. The multiple choice tests correspond well to the reading (you HAVE to the assigned reading for this class). Good professor.

I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone who thinks they can just get by in psy 301. For this class you MUST READ and take good notes. Class is very unorganized and even though she postes her notes on the web, in class she doesn't go in order of the notes and is always adding and skipping over parts. The tests are very specific and she words them funny, so you Must read them carefully several times to understand what she is asking.

She is an amazing professor. She's the first professor that has ever made me feel like she genuinely cares for me as a student and human. You can talk to her about anything and she'll be there for you; thus, making her a true mentor that wants to help you. She grades super promptly as well and gives very useful constructive feedback.
