His lectures were very interesting and fun; however, it stops there bc his is very demanding and his test I found to be hard. Granted I may not be the best student, but his test are tricky and hard. If you dont like reading then don't take him, bc the test covers an equal amount of the test questions as are the lecture notes. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I loved Professor Pennebaker! I enjoyed going to class because his lectures were soo interesting. Its important to read the book for the tests and make sure you attend the TA lectures (only 2/semester) during class because most people blow them off and he always includes a few questions on the test from what they said. His tests are all multiple choice, yet difficult. I got an A, 2 Bs, and a C. It helps to go through his old tests on his website. There is no final. Make sure you do the service hours (required in every psychology class) because its huge pain to do them the next semester to clear your incomplete. I really recommmend Pennebaker!

This guy had great lectures. I had to do a lot of reading. I pretty much read the entire textbook. Tests are hard so watch out! He curves just a little. I made B's on exams and got an A overall. This class is very interesting! RECOMMENDED!!!!!

wow. i actually liked getting up to go to this class. totally recommended. He is extremely interesting and he will have you laughing. If you study a little bit for his test your'll do fine.

pennebaker's class is amazing. i'd go sit in on his lectures even if i wasn't in his class. he knows what he is talking about and makes class VERY interesting. the only homework is reading the book, although there are a few writing assignments a semester. but the assignments are just for completion grades. pennebaker's tests are pretty hard though. he is all about theory. you have to keep up with the reading, and know how to apply all of it. but all in all, i highly reccommend his class!

If your taking his online class, don't do it. I signed up for psychology and didn't know it was online. The quizzes were timed and to make it worse they put questions that were worded weird so even if you studied and thought you did good, it would come back and you'd see the trick questions. It was already bad that they were timed, so to put trick questions made it even worse.So much of the percentage goes into the benchmarks that nothing can help you. You are required to do experimental studies that don't even benefit your grade, so it's a waste of time.Its better if you take it at a community college.
