Dr. Womack is very nice and friendly, but his lecture can be very boring and monotonous. I have to learn most of the stuff from the book myself. One advise for you, His HW is due on the day of the exams (I took him in summer, don't know he did the same thing in Fall/Spring or not), do your HW early, learn your stuff from HW, and you'll be in good shape even you skip all his lectures.

this is the worst professor i've ever had. has absolutely no idea what he's talking about and confuses the students. you will not learn a single thing in class because his lectures suck.

Dr. Womack is a really nice guy, that said, his lectures are not very helpful for actually learning the materials (good for getting a general idea of material coverage for exams though). He is however very patient and helpful during his office hours. I wouldn't taking one of his classes again.

Womack should be retiring already! He even have trouble walking! His handouts were basically waste of papers and did not do me any good at all. More than half of the class stopped showing up to class after 2 weeks. No one knew homework due dates and test dates because people barely showed to class! Ok fine... I'll stop here...

This class is pointless and boring. It's actually being removed from the ASE catalog in 06-08, so i hear. Womack....he's a 90 year old guy that only further shows that circuits and the entire EE dept is boring as shit. His lectures are boring and will put you to sleep pretty quick. He reads more or less from the book and his examples all come from the book. The homework is extremly light. Hardly anybody goes to the class, as the homework is due on the test day (which there are 3). however, the day before the test is important because he doesnt stick to his agenda and usually doesnt cover all the chapters for the test so some sections are left out. also, i think he takes some points off the tests and homeworks if they arent picked up when he first passes them out (his way of getting people to come to class). its an easy class, first exam is slighty tougher than the next two but its def easy to pass. phys 2 kinda helps, but its not needed
