All I have to say is that Porter's a punk. His lectures are at 8 in the morning and a cure for insomniacs. You likely wont understand him unless you read the book ahead of time since he doesn't write notes but only draws diagrams instead, which means you look back at your notes just to be confused.The test class average is curved only to a C,and the test consists of only 3-4 questions, meaning miss one question completely and you're screwed. His personality is equivalent to a doorknob: incredibly boring and no sense of humor whatsoever. I email him too and he never replied. Take Rodin or any other teachers if you find engineering mechanics hard, that way you won't have a high chance of failing in Porter.
