Pollak is a great teacher. I really love his class. Although you have to put some work into this class you really would enjoy it. You will learn a lot. I highly recommend this teacher.

Pollak is a burst of energy. You'll learn about "Mr. Home Depoman" and how popular he is. He has his lecture notes for sale, and no book. His tests are fair, but have the ability to screw you royally. Don't sleep through this class.

It was a really good class however, unlike the title of the class, it's main concentration is in neurobiology. The course workload wasn't bad but do read the text for the class a couple of times. The key point in his class is to focus on things that doesn't make sense to you because you would be asked to apply the information rather than spit out the memorized information. Pollak is a great guy to listen to in class. He is really animated and you can tell that he is passionate about the material. However, keep in mind that you need to know more than what he lectured in class. I would recommend that you go to discussion section to clarify anything. Overall, it wasn't a really difficult class but it does require a little time out of class in terms of reading.
