Review from a student who took GRG 335K
I took Perez for GRG 335K. Please, if you can, stay away from his class! I'm sure he's a great researcher, but as a professor/teacher he leaves A LOT to be desired. If you ask any questions in class, he's extremely condescending. Also, I tried to go to his office hours TWICE for help and he wasn't there. The last straw for me: he likes to write rude comments on tests regarding the answers you get wrong, basically making fun of you. If you're not a very sensitive person, go for it. If you are and if you want to actually LEARN something, don't waste your time on Dr. Perez.

I actually enjoyed two courses from Dr. Perez. He is a great lecturer and really cares about his students.
