He's a funny and friendly guy. His lectures are not boring cus he's not boring. He cracks jokes and keeps you awake. Plus, you would want to stay awake given that the material is hard to understand. The tests are based on questions 'lifted' from the hw's. So DO YOUR HW! The second exam is usually the hardest of the three, with the class avg around a 60. But there is a curve on the grade, though not curved relative to your classmates. If you get 85-100, then it's an A. 75-85 is a B, and so on. I never went to TA sessions, but heard they were really helpful cus they worked out the hw problems for you. It is a time consuming class, and they do tell u to reconsider taking it if your other classes are hard as well. But if you need a phy credit, then i recommend Lang.

this prof is ok, not the best or worst. He is the better prof since it is a team-taught course (you have 2 professors that alternate teaching the class) If you understand the homework...ALL of the problems, you'll at least pull a 'B'. And if you don't care about physics, there is a pretty good curve that's set in the class.
