One of the better prof's I've had. Lectures are awesome - very interesting, and he's great at explaining concepts and theory, and you will understand derivations. Tests are challenging but fair - usually simpler than some of the HW problems. Jokes around sometimes. My only knock on him is that he doesn't do a whole lot of examples in class, so you basically have to learn to apply the theory to problem solving on your own, but he'll help and work examples if you ask him to. After the 3 in-semester tests, those w/ >90% are exempt from final, so it's worth putting in the effort.

He is one of the best professor in the ME department. He teaches step by step. No matter how dumb you are, you will understand what he talks about in class. Homework load is just a little bit high, but they aren't impossible. The tests are fair and square, no tricks at all. If you pay attention in class and follow his lectures, then you'll do just fine. Test averages for the class are usually in the low 80s.
