If you want to stay ahead of the curve then do the HW's well; they are not too difficult if you use Thermonet. You can also do extremely well on the tests by simply reviewing the HW solutions, which he'll post online. Knowing the HW's is the key to understanding and excelling in this course. Crawford is a good lecturer, but as any other basic science class, you may as well teach yourself out of the book and save your mornings. If there's even an option for this class, take this guy. By the way, he gives bookoo partial credit.

Crawford is a bit eccentric at times during the lecture, but as long as you keep up with the homework and thermonet, you can win. His tests seemed pretty straight forward. Very approachable outside of class.

Crawford is weird. He's train of thought is so scrambled it is really hard to follow his lectures. Don't fall behind! You're better off learning from the TAs.
