His lectures are good. He keeps it lively and discusses interesting topics, but sometimes he gets graph happy and shows a bunch, and it gets boring. Unfortunately, his tests don't refelct his lectures. The tests are awkwardly worded and the answers are also weirdly worded. The reviews are pointless, its just the TAs reading off of the review sheet they type up. I would recommend this class pass/fail if you are taking it as an elective.

He is a cool guy. His class is interesting but the tests are composed of questions that seem to have more than one correct answer so be prepared for that. Don't take his class if you are easily offended by vulgar language.

This class has to be one of the easiest I have taken at the university. The lectures are interesting and the exam questions are ridiculously easy. If you have problems reading them there must be something wrong with you. However if you have a problem I'd recommend getting the study guide to the book because some of the questions on the exam come from it.

He is a good teacher. Class is not very hard, and you don't have to read. Gives a review before each test.

I took this class last spring thinking it would be interesting and not so hard. The lectures are interesting, but he tends to repeat the same material over and over so its pointless to go to the first half of class if you went the day before. The tests are all mulitple choice but they are tricky. I studied my ass off for the tests, memorized every case (theres about 30 on each test) and made a B in the class. Dont take it expecting an A.

Tests are kind of tough, but then again I took it P/F so I didn't really study very much. 3 exams and a final. There's a book too, but if you're taking it P/F and you pay attention in class, you probably don't need it. Interesting topic, but lectures sometimes get boring/slow. Good class for students looking to go into law or looking for an interesting elective.

Dr. Kelly does attempt to make the lectures interesting. If you pay attention during class and gloss over the book... then you should do okay in the class. However, some of the questions are worded akwardly. These questions test your application of concepts. Therefore, if possible.. it's best to read/review both the lecture notes and the book.
