Dr. Gleeson is a wonderful man, very smart and funny. However, his class is an abomination. It makes no sense and all the class serves to do is make the students insane. I really didn't see any purpose for it and I would recommend that if you don't have to take it (i.e. if you are a biochem major) DON'T. The only way the homework was comprehensible was from attending the study sessions. GO TO THOSE AT ALL COSTS. His course notes are also incomprehensible. For example many of the figures needed to comprehend the material have INSERT FIGURE HERE instead of the actual diagram. It is indeed a work in progress. All this aside, Dr. Gleeson is a great guy to shoot the breeze with and he is easy to get a hold of.
