undoubtedly one of the best profs at the university. very funny and understanding person, actually cares about his students and you can come to his office hrs pretty much anytime. tests are a bit hard, but easily manageable if you just study several days ahead. having some previous comp sci experience definetely helps in this class.

Very intresting and upbeat prof. Programs may take a while to complete and tests may seem hard but he does a very generous curve in the end.

This is one of the BEST profs you'll ever have. He genuinely cares for his students. His lectures are never dull..he loves to entertain his class. Sometimes the material gets tedious and boring but looking back it will be a class you're glad you took with stas!

This professor is the best professor I have had so far. Even if you have to change your schedule completely to be in one of his classes, it is worth it. He has a lot of patience and is very easy to talk to. His lectures are actually entertaining although the subject can at times be dull. My recommendation- take his class!
