Milner is the most disorganized professor I have ever had. His grading scale gets changed at least 6 times during the semester and are incredibly arbitrary. His lectures are unclear, vague, and have no bearing on the test problems or subject matter. In a nutshell, Dr. Milner is the most frustrating and least informative professor I've had in my 4 years at UT. I feel as though I have learned absolutely nothing from his class.

It was a very unorganized class, but that comes with the territory of the class being offered for the first time. We're all guinea pigs. Lecture notes were taken down a day after the lecture, so if you missed them, you missed them. But in his defense, I don't know if the notes were automatically being taken down or what...or even if he knew about that. He ended up putting them up again before the test, but if you wanted them on hand before then, well you were out of luck. I realize Milner had very little interesting material to work with...well, NO interesting material to work with, especially considering more than half the class doesn't want to do *that* kind of engineering. I personally never got anything out of class, since I couldn't see from where I was and we had assigned seating. So that was definitely working against him. Plus, he had a reputation from teaching BME 303. Really, since BME is so small, you'll likely never have a chance to take a the class he's teaching with a different professor, so all I can say is good luck. Count on the rest of the class failing alongside you, and you'll realize the one good thing about engineering. A 60 on a test equals a B.

Milner is the worst professor I have ever had the displeasure of taking.
