This professor was the T. She spoke to us at a "people" level that a college student understood. Often, the class would talk about "LA Law" after the lecture because it was popular in the mid 80s. Even so, I preferred "Knots Landing", but Prof. Collie knew how to make students feel that government class can be interesting. She described the House as "big and mean", much like UT. The Senate - more intimate and prestigious. Before exams she asked us, "I don't have to give you the 'cheaters are scum' speech, do I?" Great teacher.
