Make sure you go to class because he notes helps you A LOT. Exam is somewhere between Easy to Normal. There are tricky questions on exams. Good thing in taking his class is: he always lets you get out early. Video is kind of interesting. Class material is not too much. Do not have to study everyday since he only covers materials a bit daily.

Great prof! He's really funny and lectures are enjoyable...so it's not hard to make it to class. Be sure to write down what he says about the case studies...those are pretty much the only days you have to be there. There are alot of exams, but they're pretty easy. GET THE OPTIONAL STUDY GUIDE that he wrote for the class (COOP). Alot of the test questions are from the study guide, and the answers are exactly the same.

Carner is ok, he has a lot of extra credit opportunities. The tests are not that hard, if you go to the lecture or if you read the book, you pretty much just need to pick one.

nice guy. This class is an easy A if you go to the class & do the reviews. But I didn't even really go to the class after the 2nd test - there's 5 - and I still got an A. Lectures are not boring, and the tests aren't really hard, you just have to read the book (look for the review ?s). There was an optional cumulative final that replaced a lowest test grade. And he offered extra credit - research studies. Not a bad class, good prof, but the content is not the most interesting. If you're looking for a class you don't really need to pay attention to until test time, this is it. Watch out, the test reviews get longer as you go along.

DO NOT TAKE DR. CARNER. He's the devil. His class is so friggin' hard. He will put questions on the test that he only went through in class for 2 seconds and it's not in the book. He has the so-called "essay" question that's hit or miss. If you miss, you just lost 10 points. I had to work really hard in the class to make an A. His class is mostly memorization. If you are the type of person like me who go for the understanding, good luck. That's comming from an Engineering Major Senior with a 4.0. I work harder in this class than most of my engineering classes. I would compare this class to Dr. Demkowitz's EM 311M (Dynamics) and Dr. Rabenberg's ME 311(Materials) as far as work load goes.

Hes a great prof. Very enthu and makes the class interesting. Has lot of experience and uses it well in his lectures. It is not at all difficult to make an A in his class plus he gives a chance for extra credit. Do take him if you can

Funny guy. He has cool facts about products and companies that are interesting. The tests are straight off the review he gives a week in advance. He reviews in class also. Sometimes the essay will make a letter grade difference in the tests, but there are extra credits. I enjoyed going to class. Very easy course. I highly recommend it.

He's a nice man and tries to work with his students if you have some problems. His lectures are sometimes funny but they're basically word for word from the book. You could never attend class and still make an A by reading the book. Easy class!
