Bremen keeps his lectures entertaining by encorporating Movie Clips, Songs, and Videos that pertain to the lecture. We ended up listening to Snoop Dog, Elvis, etc... We watched clips from Pulp Fiction and other various movies. He uses an energetic voice and is never monotone, he cracks jokes here and there. Very interesting class, and I feel like I learned alot because the lecture material was relevant with current events. Grading went as follows: 20% Reading journal. 20% Class discussion, quizzes, and attendance. 40% Two 2-page papers worth 20% each. 20% Final Exam. All the grading are done by the TAs.

Bremen has decent lectures. He tries to throw in movie clips so everyone will stay awake. There is a lot of reading and a very useless journal. I would suggest going to class and taking notes on specific readings (This is the only thing that you are really quizzed on, and the final will be quotes that he specifically mentioned in class) If you pay attention a little, you will make an A. Overall, this class was pretty easy.
