I was very upset that I was not able to enroll in the American literature course for the spring 2011 semester. Instead I had to enroll in British Literature with Professor Christian, and I am extremely glad I did. He is by far one of the best professors I have come across during my time at UT. He is absolutely hilarious and makes an ordinary British Literature class interesting. The workload, in my opinion, was very light despite the reading assignments as there were only three exams. I was very fortunate to enroll in a class taught by Professor Christian. Still need your literature credit? Forget enrolling in American literature and instead enroll in E316K with Professor Christian. You won't regret it!

I took this class in a summer session. The work load was very fair although it was a shortened semester. There is an assigned reading for every class. Grading is also fair as I have not taken a writing/english class since high school and am not confident in my essay writing. I feel that grades are based on content rather than grammar. He has a great lecture style and incorporates news, humor and modern society into the lectures. I actually miss this course now that it is over! You will not regret enrolling with George Christian.
