Bostick is a great guy. Very friendly and answers questions with patience. His lectures were pretty much the homework that would be due the following week, so if you come to class (and don't fall asleep) then it is a relativley easy class.

HW are due twice a week, and they are often correlated; if you miss one HW, you'll have trouble doing the next HW, so DO NOT MISS HW. His lecture is well organized, not to mention he has the best handwriting among ECE professors too. Coming to lecture is a MUST, because he will do examples very similar to HW, it looks like his lecture is designed to help you solve your HW. You may want to ask, his HW is worth only 10%, why is it important to do all HW? This is because his exams are based on his HW entirely. He also posted the HW solutions online, which is very well written and showed all steps (hand written by Dr. Bostick as well). Study all HW solutions (you don't even have to study the textbook which is the size of a telephone directory) and you're in good shape becoz the exam problems are almost exactly the same style as HW but much more easier.

Nicest professor I have had so far in EE. Very helpful in office hours. His test are pretty easy and very similiar to the hw. You should take Bostick for 438 I hear Cardwell is a little harder.

Very good teacher that does not use book, have to learn everything from lecture. Homework every class period except after tests but only one or two problems. Has plenty of office hours and is a very nice person outside of class.

Basically does the hw in class, but there still is a heavy hw load. Tests are so-so, we got to use cheatsheets.

One of the nicest profs, I ever had. Would recommend taking him over cardwell for 438. His test were relatively easy, and he workd hw problems in class. take him.

Don't be fooled. While he is a nice guy, he expects that anyone can learn from his style of teaching. If you're one of the ones that cant, prepare to looked at like a dumbass because thats how he'll treat you.

It is important to attend lecture since the homeworks and tests are solely based off it. Make sure for the final review all your notes.
