This class is useless. So useless that the aerospace department is not going to make it a requirement anymore under the 2007 catalog. (Atleast that's what a majority of the board is currently in favor of...) The professor just mumbles thru the entire lecture, going over seemingly pointless things on the net. I had heard that the tests were open book/notes but this is no longer the case. I had also heard that you could turn in the homework late for no penalty, but this is also no longer true. Homework is easy and he goes over the answers at the end of class (for the homework that is due next time), but there is one due every lecture, so you pretty much need to go everyday, or get some friends and take turns, each turning in the homework for everyone and getting the answers for the next one each time you go. The tests are basic vocabulary, with some equations and sketches thrown in. Overall the class isn't difficult, but its sometimes hard to make yourself learn the stuff for the test, as its basically just memorizing a bunch of random stuff.
