Review from a student who took PHY 453
He loves teaching and it shows. He actively takes an interest in everyone and if you don't get something ... he'll keep trying until you do get it. His lectures are really good ... don't miss them. You might be lost in some cases but hey!! What else do you expect from relativity anyways?? His grading is fair .. it's the labs in which you might get screwed. But as far as the lecture goes, if you do your work well, then you'll get exactly what you deserve. One of the best classes I've taken till date. I wouldn't mind getting a B also in this class purely because it was so mentally satisfying.
