She's an intelligent and nice lady. When you go to her office hours, you really get to know her better. From my persepective, it seems she always wants students to improve, so she helps you out without embarassing you. Sometimes learning a second language as difficult as Chinese is intimidating, but she helps you throughout her course.

What a nice lady! She will definitely go out of her way to help imporve your Chinese. Chi 507 is harder then 506 because there is more vocabulary to worry about. Once you get the routine down, it should be a OK class. Basically in one week, you learn new vocab, read the story, and have a test the following week. It's a hard language to learn but this professor will work with you.
