I took book M 408D and M 427K with Dr. Hamrick and he is a great professor. Once you leave his class you actually understand the material. If you can by any means or method take his class.

Wow, great math professor. I was scared going into M408D because I thought all math classes would be taught by really bad professors, but Dr. Hamrick really knows what he's talking about. His grading is really fair cause he gives partial credit which saved my butt. All in all, if u are going to take M408D, I would take Dr. Hamrick!

The CIS Results do not lie. Hamrick is a wonderful professor. His quizzes are very fair, very similar to the problems he gives in class. His lecture style is information packed but never ceases to be humorous as well. And unlike other Math and Science professors, he speaks clearly and doesn't have a distracting East European accent. Take this class.

The workload seemed excessive for this class - two LONG homeworks a week. He's not a bad lecturer, but not exactly good either, and his tests are killers. Its possible to get an A in this class (I did, don't know how...) but it's not easy, and from what I've heard about diff eq, it shouldn't have been this hard. Maybe that's b/c I took it honors, but either way, it was brutal.

Hamrick knows his stuff. He's a very fair grader and his tests are do-able if you study. Don't rely on the solution manual for the homework unless you're willing to study for the tests (which is what I did). I ended up with an A, but since I didnt really do the homework, I had to study to make that grade.

Dr. Hamrick is a math genius. The homeworks are of average length and don't count for much and the tests have very similar questions to tests givin in past years. If you can get ahold of his pasts tests do so and it will make this class an easy A.

Lecutres are good, sometimes he goes off on tangents but its ok. Easy hw and most of the quiz problems come off of hw. The final was the same but with a lot of similar problems from the old quizzes.

Really good. Lectures are really good. Knows his stuff. Exams are pretty fair. Adds his own unique style to his lectures which make them enjoyable.
