Review from a student who took HDF 355
Her grading was pretty fair and classes were easy, but if you’re looking for an internship, look somewhere else. I was stuck doing pretty mundane tasks like shredding paper. It wasn’t really research at all. I wouldn’t have minded it, but on top of that, she really makes you feel just horrible for messing something up and always finds something wrong to blame on you, even when you’re not at fault sometimes. I tried really hard to like her research project because I thought it was interesting and very beneficial to the Mexican American community and to language brokers in general, but I ended up walking away from the research project with close to nothing.
