Take this teacher, Vrej is probably the best prof I have ever had. He cares about his students and his lectures make the material seem easy. A lot of my friends that had 340L with other prof's said it was hard, but this class was an easy A for me. He has two grading schemes Scheme 1: Homework: 10% Quizzes: 15% Tests 1 and 2: 22.5% each Final: 30%. Scheme 2: HW and quizzes the same. Best of two tests: 22.5% Final: 52.5%. Tests are very easy as long as you do hw and quizzes. Quizzes are given online on Friday, and due the next Monday. They are usually one problem and very easy. Overall a great prof and easy class.

I've been at UT for three years now, and Vrej is the best prof of them all so far. I really enjoyed his class. Take math with him if you can!

Very good professor. Makes the material quite easy and it sticks in your head. He goes over many example problems so the hw will be easy to do. Tests are similar to hw problems and his review pages are more than enough to study. I'd take this professor whenever I can.
