Review from a student who took ANT 302
Prof. Strong's class is interesting. It's not a great idea to skip too many days of classes. The discussion sessions we had helps you to catch up and ask the TA specific questions. I had her during summer also and we wrote an essay every week. The test was pretty easy if you pay attention and take notes. Good luck.

Professor Strong is amazing! She is enthusiastic about her subject, and genuinely cares about her students. I had her over the summer for Anth, and by all means, take that class from her if you can. She is a little eccentric, and you have to write 7 or 8 1-page papers, I guess it comes out to one a week. Those aren't too bad as long as you keep up the reading, which isnt too much, a few chapters a week. Interesting stuff. You also have to write a critical review of an ethnography at the end, however, she provides you with guidelines.. I just went down the list of guidelines and put them all in my paper.. I made an A. The tests are short short essays and a few IDs, as long as you look back over notes you'll be fine. Professor Strong is the BEST!
