Review from a student who took ECO 354K
The class is very hard. The T.A. grades quite unfairly. He seems to just hand out grades on a whim. Stahl's class moves fast too. There are two exams and the final. Including homework the grades, the grades are 25% each. That seems all well until you do the homework. I should say attempt it. The homework goes way above and beyond what is covered in class. No one has a clue as to what to do. Meanwhile the T.A. is a complete ass. He goes over the homework after it is turned in and refuses to help before it is due. His "review" session is at the worst time. Thursdays at 5:00pm. Who wants to go on Thursday when many of us have Fridays off. I hope I can squeek out a C in the class. I say stay away unless you want to pull out your hair and spend at least 8 hours doing 5 homework problems a week.
