Tough class for anything he teaches, but you're gonna learn a lot. First day he tells us that 70 and above gets an A..that tells you how hard the class is. I feel like every other ECO class after this one was a piece of cake..I would stop just short of recommending him, a friend recommended him to me and I thought she hated me for a while, but he's got a distinct teaching style that I ended up liking. Go to the first few days of class and see what you think.

Best prof I have had at UT. This was also one of the hardest courses that I have taken. He is one of the few profs that cares about the students, and he actually takes the time to learn all the students names. Don't expect to have an easy class, but you will learn more than with any other teacher.

Very tough class but you will learn a whole lot. Don't get discouraged by low grades but don't count on the curve either. Take advantage of office hours, he's a really nice guy face to face and actually will put in real effort to see that you learn. Brush up on your baseball for brownie points.

Hardest profesor I have had to date in my educational career. He is also one of the best in that he tries to give you the most he can. Knowledgable on just about every facet of economics. Great personality. Great teaching style. Cares about students by learning all students names and willing to offer help in the understanding of his material. Highly recommend. Hard class, but will make you a much better student, maybe a better person.
