Review from a student who took M 305 G
Matt is a good guy. He is NOT such a great lecturer though. He isn't too bad, his tests aren't that bad either, he does give you more than enough time on the exams. If you read a little and study some you'll do fine on the exams. He doesn't give you exams over a large amount of material, but he does give you like six questions. So the material he presents you better know. I learn more from him in his office hours than his class. Grad-students don't make the best lecturers and he is a prime example of this. So beware! He often confuses you with his 'interesting' ways of figuring things out.

Matt is a good guy and he know Pre Calc, he just doesn't know how to teach it. He is the type that will teach you what you need to know but tell you extra nonsense that will throw you off. As long as you look at his past tests you will get a A. The class is easy. I never went but i did my homework and made A's on the test. As long as you have the book, you will be cool.
