WOw !!! amazing professor ... great one .. lecture is very comfortable, easy to follow. She is a very nice person, you can talk to her about anything: project, lecture and comments. I highly recommended this teacher if you are planning to take M 333L. P.S. : on my class spring 2004, 50% of the class get As, almost the rest are Bs =)

She is mild mannered but that doesn’t make a good instructor. It was impossible to listen to the lectures while groups of students chatted here and there (classroom management). She averaged about five mistakes per fifty minute lecture that students caught after all the scribbling was done. She kept a continuing dialog with one particular student the whole time which seemed strange and out of place. When I went to her office hours, she wouldn’t acknowledge my presence at the door even though she could see me. The TA followed her guidance and turned out to be a total waste of time by not helping, just adding more problems to work. If you don’t already know it, find someone else to teach you. If I taught a class and had so many drops, failures, and barely make its, I would change the way I taught.

Dr. Rodin is a very sweet grandmotherly woman. And she really knows her stuff. She is very easy to speak with, and will help you understand a concept as long as you are willing to try. She also has reviews before every exam, so it's actually pretty difficult to not do well on her exams, in my opinion. Sh was able to make the course material relatable to things outside of class, so it really gave purpose to the subject. Excellent professor & excellent course!
