Review from a student who took ITC 360
This class is a really fun class and Professor Raffa is, overall a good teacher. All of the reading material is interesting and you learn a lot about Italian history, which is fascinating. The only downside is, there isn't a lot of graded work (four small quizzes and two papers, which weigh heavily on your grade) and he is very stringent with his paper grading. He proclaimed that he "can look at a paper and immediately know what grade to give it." If you feel he has unjustly graded you, he won't listen, he's very steadfast on the grades he gives. It's a fun class, but even if you're a good writer, be prepared to get a B.
