Intro to Ancient Rome is not an easy course. It is very reading-intensive, and the required passages are extremely boring, if the title of the class wasn't enough of a hint. The textbook does not cover the content of the lectures, so you have to stay awake in class in order to pass the class. But that is difficult... His exams are also hard. Short answers and long essay. I rarely have time to finish them completely. I regret taking this course, but if you are into Classics, you should Moore to be an excellent teacher. He is extremely passionate about this subject, and knows more than you would think is healthy. Likewise, he has high expectations.
